Director nominations

In accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of The Real Estate Institute of Queensland Limited (the Institute), notice is hereby given of the intention to conduct an election for the following Member Director positions:

 

  • 1 x Young Director; and 
  • 1 x Female Regional Director. 

To be eligible as a candidate for election as a Young Director or Female Regional Director to the Institute’s Board of Directors for a period of three years (subject to the rotation requirements set out in the Constitution) commencing at the conclusion of the 2024 Annual General Meeting, an individual must be a member of one of the following classes described in By-laws 5 to 8:

  1. Life
  2. Fellow
  3. Practising
  4. Associate

Additional eligibility criteria apply for the roles of Young Director and Female Regional Director, with further information available in the Notice of Election and Nomination Form.

REIQ welcomes new Fellows

The REIQ has awarded real estate professionals from across the state with an REIQ Fellowship.

The prestigious title of REIQ Fellow is awarded to practising members who have completed a total period of 15 years membership and who have been carefully selected and appointed by the REIQ Board for satisfying specified criteria.

The appointment of new Fellows celebrates a high standard of professional conduct, an ongoing commitment to professional development, and a drive to give back and contribute to the profession.

2024-2025 Zone Chairs

The REIQ’s Zone Chairs are ambassadors for our profession, representing the REIQ at a local level across 16 regions throughout Queensland. With support from the REIQ, they are our local voice in the community, providing boots-on-the-ground representation in regional areas and helping to strengthen communication between the REIQ and our members.
